Fall Lost In the Healing | Jordan

Fall lost in the Healing is a portrait of my best friend Jordan, a creative in his own right, a brilliant musician with a wild mind and a radiant heart. It was painted in one long sitting, in which I reflected upon my friendship with Jordan. The signs and symbols that arose became part of the painting and the colours and imagery soon formed the emotion of the piece. Capturing the portrait of someone you know so intimately is always a hard prospect, as we change so frequently, from moment to moment, never truly the same again. The phrase 'Fall Lost in the Healing" is a reference to one of Jordans poems, some of which is scattered throughout the piece.
