The Chorus of Your Own Song
The Eighth work in my Series A Rose Thorn in the Sea
. . .
Upon the breaches of life-
where the bygone years leave their crown
You stand at the face of forward
And upon the sands of times great door
Within the chorus of your own song
the golden age of your life’s great mystery
though there is a sense of setting
Alike the gilded fall of suns
the parallel shines with a gloss, unblemished
and the fractals of your past trail onward
toward the horizon of your present self
Youthful you,
aging we,
upon the beaches of your inner sea
. . .
